Mora Ice® Nova Black ice auger is packed with patented innovations and is particularly popular among competitive ice fishermen!
The blade of the Mora Ice® Nova Black ice auger is made of a durable and lightweight composite crown, which ensures the blades always attach in the correct position. The curved blades are considered medium-fast and are designed for current Nordic winter conditions, where ice anglers often encounter layered ice. For competitive anglers, fast RACE blades are available, allowing for quicker hole drilling in steel ice. The blades are easy and quick to replace even on the ice, so spare blades can save the fishing trip.
The Mora Ice® Nova Black ice auger has a telescoping shaft, allowing the total length of the auger to be adjusted to the angler’s preferences. The handles on the crank are ergonomically designed to support the hand from the bottom. The handles are also ball-bearing equipped, meaning they rotate smoothly and make drilling easier.
The screw of the Mora Ice® Nova Black ice auger is designed to gently lift the ice core out of the hole, making the drilling process easier. The shaft of the screw has a handle, making it easy and warm to carry the auger. The screw, blade, and shaft are all designed to be compatible with a power drill. A power drill adapter is available as an accessory. Made in Finland.
