The Purhu Salakka, a pike-perch and trout wobbler, is shaped according to the natural diet of predatory fish. At ten centimeters long, the lure attracts predatory fish of many types and sizes. The naturally scaled colors of this wobbler have been designed by drawing every scale with a pencil, which gives the lure a natural but unique look. The sable is available in natural colors to stimulus colors, for both cold and warm water. The hybrid of saddle and tongue plate designed by Purhu makes this narrow and tall lure flash its mirrored sides gracefully. The Salakka works for both motor and rowing trolling, and can also be used for casting fishing, for example when trolling for trout.
Environmentally friendly manufacturing
All Purhu wobblers are manufactured ecologically, with the environment first in mind. The material used to make the wobblers is biocomposite. Purhu wobblers are up to 20-60% more ecological due to the materials used and the low material waste, compared to plastic or wood-based lures. The materials for Purhu wobblers are obtained from waste materials from large industries. The logistical carbon footprint of production is also comparatively high. Lure production is carried out in one location, self-sufficiently, and the product packaging made of recycled cardboard comes from Finland. The ideology of Purhu wobblers is also the idea that all Purhu wobblers are premium-class, able to withstand predatory fish fishing and containing the properties of top-class salmon lures.
