Try the Rapala Skitter Pop in waters under 2 meters deep for perch during warm water periods, and for brook trout year-round. A general rule for retrieval speed: in warm water and for active fish, retrieve quickly; in cold conditions and for passive fish, retrieve slowly with occasional pauses, and in freezing conditions, use an even slower retrieval.
